Picture Manhattan in 1860, a period before the city had been dressed up and prepared for the cinema, before the style and appeal dominated. Amsterdam Vallan (DiCaprio) is a youthful Irish man that moves to the USA at a youthful age. Amsterdam’s story happens in Five Points District of New York, a dirty and risky piece of the city before it was erased structure history.
